An Albuquerque native, Channing attended Manzano Day School and the Albuquerque Academy before leaving to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Channing worked in sales and marketing in San Francisco, New York, and Boston before deciding to return home to New Mexico and bring her talents to the family real estate business.
