Food Pantry Resources

You may have recently seen Channing interviewed on KRQE as part of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Program. Channing and Ida were selected as Good Neighbors for their work with the SY Jackson Elementary School Food Pantry. Here are some links if you would like to learn more, contribute, or get involved.

Donate to the SY Jackson Food Pantry

If you would like to make a cash donation to the food pantry, you can do so at the SY Jackson Cheddar Up site. Select the “enter amount” button to the right of the Food Pantry, enter the amount you wish to donate, and process your payment.

If you would like to make a food contribution, please contact Channing at (505) 991-2739 to receive a list of current needs. We are in the middle of our final food drive of the year to secure food for the summer and the start of next school year.

Volunteer at Your Neighborhood School

If you would like to get involved with your neighborhood school, we recommend reaching out to the school counselor at the school (find school contact information on the APS website) to find out how you can best help. Every school may not have a food pantry, but there will certainly be ways to help. If you would like to start a food pantry at your school, contact Channing at (505) 991-2739 and she will be happy to offer guidance and advice.

Donate to the Community Food Bank

Road Runner Food Bank is an incredible resource for our community and an easy way to support families in need. Your contribution will support both community programs and school based programs.

GAAR Good Neighbor Program

The Good Neighbor Program is a National Association of Realtors program designed to recognize the leadership and service Realtors offer in their communities—72% of Realtors volunteer in their community! Learn more about the GAAR Good Neighbor program at the GAAR website.

Thank you for your interest in supporting families in our community!
