Ida Kelly, Qualifying Broker

When I created Ida Kelly Realtors® my goal was to have a small firm of dedicated professionals whose focus was on guiding buyers and sellers through a complicated real estate transaction with deep knowledge and high standards.

My path, through years of real estate practice, provided the experience and a broad foundation for where I am today.

My career started with two years of sales and training with a large residential firm before I was asked to open the company’s third residential office as managing broker. During my four years in that position, I hired and trained several hundred brokers while handling all the day to day complexities of management.

In 1983, I realized that sales was where I belonged, not management, and I returned to one of our other offices and had a very successful 10 years. Family changes plus my desire to be in a small setting was the impetus to start my own company in 1991 and that’s where I still am today.

Very early in my career, I realized service to my profession would be important to me and I pursued a variety of positions at the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS and gave over 35 years of service. A term as President of the association and several years chairing the Professional Standards Committee were the highlights. I have received the Salesperson of the Year and REALTOR of the Year awards but the capstone was the Doyle Pargin Lifetime Achievement in 2016 -- Kurstin Johnson with Vista Encanta Realtors presents the award in the video below.
